Keep your church database, email, texting and payment accounts — Worksite connects to them and never charges you for them again. Texts go through your own Clearstream, Twilio or Telnyx account at their price. The setup fee covers the first month; your plan starts on day 31.

Who built it

From setting out the chairs to running operations.

Worksite was built by someone who has served in the church for many years and done most of the jobs it now organizes — cleaning the rooms, setting the stage, leading the creative department, and now running operations as a church's chief operating officer.

Every screen answers a question he was asked on a Sunday morning, or one he had to chase down on a Tuesday. That is why it reaches volunteers where they are, why it runs the building, and why your office can change it without calling anyone.

Questions

The straight answers.

Does Worksite replace Planning Center?

It can replace some of it, and work with the rest. Services and Check-in can run alongside Planning Center while you try them, then take over when you are ready — turned on in stages, one step at a time. Your people still come from your church database (Planning Center, Breeze, Rock RMS, Elvanto or Pushpay ChMS), and anything you keep there stays connected.

Can it really replace several of our subscriptions?

For many churches, yes. One Worksite does the work of a kids check-in service, service planning and volunteer scheduling, staff chat, a task tool, room booking, digital signage, room panels, registrations and forms, guest follow-up, prayer requests, a link page and a QR code service. You pick what you use; you can switch off the rest.

Do our volunteers need accounts?

No — that is the whole design. A volunteer gets a text or an email with one link to one page. They can say yes to serving, finish a job, claim a Saturday, sign a form or check their kids in without ever seeing a sign-in screen. Only staff sign in, and they can use Face ID.

What do we need for kids check-in?

iPads for the kiosks (or any tablet with a browser), and a label printer: a Brother QL-820NWB or QL-810W on 62 mm tape, or a Zebra (or a printer that speaks Zebra's language) with its own labels. Room rosters run on iPads, on a leader's phone, or on a room panel facing into the room.

What happens when we sign up?

You pay the $250 setup fee by card. Straight away you get an email asking for the few things we need (your logo, staff list, which tools you use). Then a welcome email with your setup dates. We build your Worksite, connect your tools, load your people and roles, and hand it over on a short call — usually within two weeks. Your monthly plan starts on day 31.

What do we need to have already?

Nothing is required to start. Worksite connects to Planning Center, Breeze, Rock RMS, Elvanto or Pushpay ChMS, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace (for email), and Clearstream, Twilio or Telnyx (for texting) if you use them — they stay on your own subscriptions. Square or Stripe, if you want to take card payments. If a service is not there, that feature simply switches off rather than breaking.

Can we change the wording of the emails and texts?

Yes, every one of them. Settings → Messages shows each email and text as it arrives, with a live preview. Change the words; the links, dates and buttons stay in place so nothing you type can stop it working. "Put back the original" is always there, and every change is logged.

We do not need everything. Can we hide some of it?

Yes. Settings → Features switches whole areas off for everyone. Nothing is deleted, and switching it back on brings it all back exactly as it was. New areas like Check-in stay off until you switch them on.

Can people pay online?

Yes, through your own Square or Stripe account. Registrations take cards in Square's own card box or on Stripe's own checkout page — card numbers never touch Worksite. Receipts go out automatically and the money lands in your account as it always does.

Where is our data, and can we get it out?

On a server we host in the United States, in a database that belongs to your church alone. Your owner can download a complete copy any time, and a nightly copy can go into your own OneDrive. Keys for your services are encrypted and never shown again once saved. When you leave, you take everything with you.

We have more than one campus.

Worksite Plus runs every campus in one Worksite. Each person sees their own campus first — its rooms, calendar, building, screens, guests and care — and can lay every campus's calendar together. Each campus has its own approvers and building bridge, and you choose how much each campus sees of the others.

What does it not do?

Online giving, accounting and background checks. Those stay with your giving provider and your church database; Worksite covers the work around them.

How do we get help?

From Help inside your Worksite: ask a question or report a problem, add a screenshot, and it comes straight to us with the details of your setup (never your people's data). You get a ticket number and the day you will hear by — within two working days, usually sooner.

What if we cancel?

No contract. Your Worksite runs to the end of the month you paid for, then stays readable for two weeks so you can export everything. The setup fee covers work already done, so it is not refunded once setup has begun.
